About Herbal Healing

Herbal Healing began with a simple belief: that caring for ourselves can be gentler, more considered and more connected to nature.

Founded on the Kāpiti Coast by herbalist Eloise Tzimas, Herbal Healing brings together traditional plant knowledge, thoughtful formulation and restorative everyday rituals to support people through the changing needs of modern life.

From herbal teas and botanical balms to essential oils, magnesium and sleep remedies, each formulation begins with a purpose and is created with care.

Nature’s wisdom, refined for modern rituals.

Meet Eloise

My path to Herbal Healing began long before there was a product range.

After witnessing members of my own family live through prolonged periods of stress and anxiety, I became deeply curious about the relationship between our emotional wellbeing, our physical health and the way we care for ourselves every day.

I wanted to understand how nature, plants and traditional wellness practices could help us feel more supported through periods of stress and change.

That curiosity became years of study in herbal medicine, aromatology and holistic wellbeing, and eventually became Herbal Healing.

My studies took me through different traditions and ways of understanding wellbeing, including time spent studying with a Shaman in Portland, Oregon. It encouraged me to look beyond individual symptoms and consider the relationship between the physical, emotional and energetic parts of ourselves.

My own experience with breast cancer later made that philosophy deeply personal.

Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach Herbal Healing today.

Herbal wisdom, thoughtfully applied.

My approach is grounded in ongoing study across herbal medicine, aromatology and complementary wellness practices.

My training includes a Certificate in Herbal Medicine from Waikato College for Herbal Medicine, study in Aromatology, and certification in Chinese Medicine Principles of Wellness through Hong Kong University. I am also a Certified Theta Healing Practitioner and have trained in Inner Child Healing and energy and chakra calibration techniques.

That knowledge informs the way I select botanicals, develop formulations and think about how each product fits into someone's everyday life.

Where possible, I source certified organic, wild-crafted and sustainably grown ingredients, prioritising New Zealand suppliers and ethical sourcing practices. Products are created in small batches with consideration for both the people using them and the environment around us.
